Background

Graduated cum laude from the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice. After serving as a police officer in Alaska, I attended California Western School of Law, where I graduated magna cum laude in 1989 and served as Managing Editor of Law Review.

I became a member of the California Bar in 1989 and am authorized to practice in all Federal Courts through out California. Since becoming an attorney, I have practiced in such areas as insurance defense litigation, banking litigation on behalf of the Resolution Trust Corporation, plaintiff's personal injury, business torts, and employment litigation, where I have represented both employers and employees.

In 2000, I formed my own firm, where I have primarily represented individuals and businesses in the counties of San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles. My clients include international shipping companies, custom house brokers, manufacturers, developers construction related companies, architects, mortgage and real estate brokers, physicians and surgeons, athletes, and television actors. References are available upon request.

For approximately ten years, I served as a Judge Pro Tem Pore of the San Diego Municipal and Superior Court. I am panel counsel for the Fraternal Order of Police. Additionally, I proudly serve as outside counsel to the National City Boys and Girls Club.
